This week’s featured design from Zenith City Press’s line of vintage reproduction art is an enlarged lithographic postcard made in 1905 showing Duluth, Minnesota’s Aerial Transfer Bridge (1905–1929). The bridge was the first transfer bridge (aka transporter or ferry bridge) built in North America and the only one ever built using stiff-trussed metal girders instead of a cable suspension. It was converted into the Duluth’s iconic Aerial Lift Bridge in 1929-1930.
This design is available as a print (framed or unframed on canvas, art paper, metal, acrylic, or wood), greeting cards, blank spiral notebooks, throw pillows, shower curtains, bath & beach towels, tote bags, coffee mugs, and puzzles. Want it on something else? Email us and we’ll see if we can make it available.
