Archive Dive: Father of Boeing Aerospace Founder Claimed He Owned Duluth’s Ship Canal

This week’s archive dive brings up a legendary tale of Duluth: How Wilhelm Boeing, father of Boeing Aerospace founder William Being, tried to not only sue Duluth over the ownership of the Duluth Ship Canal, but actually tried to block shipping traffic through the canal by tying a rope between its piers.
