Brew North: A Beer Story airs this Monday on WDSE

WDSE’s original documentary premieres Monday, March 6

“Brew North: A Beer Story,” a new documentary by Karen Sunderman and Steve Ash of WDSE-TV, explores the pioneering spirit and passion that connects the brewing community through time. From historic breweries in Duluth, Virginia, and Tower to the current craft beer revolution underway, discover how beer making bubbled up in the Arrowhead. Hear the stories of brewers, families and collectors connected to the beer history of the north.

The show will air:

Monday, March 6 at 7 p.m. on channel 8.1.

Sunday, March 12 at 5:30 p.m. on channel 8.1

Monday, March 13 at 8:30 p.m. on channel 8.1

Saturday, March 11 at 3:30 p.m. on channel 8.2

Zenith City Press was honored to help WDSE by providing images and information for this documentary, which features appearances by ZCP’s publisher Tony Dierckins and regional historic brewery expert Pete Clure. Dierckins and Clure are currently at work on a new book, Naturally Brewed, Naturally Better: The Historic Breweries of Duluth & Superior, which we hope to release in Spring 2018 (in time for Bockfest) or September 2018 (in time for Oktoberfest).
