Superior Beer Brewing History on Tap for October 22

Thanks to everyone who showed up at Beaner’s Central last night for our presentation from Naturally Brewed, Naturally Better on the history of West Duluth’s People’s Brewing Co., and especially to our friends Jason and Bob and their crews from Beaner’s and the Zenith Bookstore, respectively, for co-sponsoring the event.

You have two more chances to catch one of our live presentations on the histories of the Twin Ports’ four major historic breweries.

Next up is “You Made It Famous, We Made it Good: The History of Superior’s Northern Brewing Co.,” on Monday, October 22 at 7 p.m. at the Cedar Lounge and sponsored by our friends at the Cedar/Earth Rider Brewing co. The presentation includes the complete history of brewing in Superior from 1859–1968. Did you know that the Cedar was built by Northern in 1912 as a tied house saloon—and now it serves as Earth Rider’s taproom, essentially a modern tied house? Just part of our effort to give you a chance to get your history where it was made! For details on this and all our upcoming events, click here.
