Aerial Transfer Bridge & Ore Boat (1908)
This week’s featured design from Zenith City Press’s line of vintage reproduction art comes from our collection of historic black-and-white photographs. The 1908 photograph shows a steam-powered freighter, likely hauling iron ore or grain, passing under the Aerial Transfer Bridge (1904–1929) as it navigates the ship canal in Duluth, Minnesota. The photo was made for the Detroit Publishing Company, which used the negative to create color lithographic postcards.
This design is available as a print (framed or unframed on canvas, art paper, metal, or wood) and blank greeting cards, throw pillows, tote bags, carry-all pouches, shower curtains, beach and bath towels, blank spiral notebooks, fleece blankets, coffee mugs, and puzzles. Want it on something else? Email us and we’ll see if we can make it available!
