Pre-Order Duluth’s Grand old Architecture today!

After working on the project for more than ten years, we are happy to announce that Duluth’s Grand Old Architecture: 1870–1940 by Tony Dierckins and the late Maryanne C. Norton will be available in August. And more good news: Our friends at J.S. Print Group are expanding their operations and will now be able to print our books right here in Duluth!

The bad news? The pandemic has been tough on publishers: sales are down, many printers/book manufacturers have closed their doors (reducing competitive pricing), paper costs have risen over 20% while supply chain issues make it more difficult to obtain paper (hence the book’s delay until August), and the war in Ukraine has raised the price of gas and, therefore, shipping—and meanwhile the rate of inflation continues to climb. So Zenith City Press needs your help to finance the book’s printing.

We aren’t asking for donations. Instead, we are asking our loyal audience to buy the book before its August release. You’ll pay no more for the book than it will cost in stores, and your copy will be signed by co-author Tony Dierckins. We also have several “early bird” specials that allow you to get a signed and personalized book or up to two more Zenith City Press books at a fraction of their cost.

So please consider purchasing Duluth’s Grand Old Architecture today, and as always, thanks for your support!
